	Towers Crewmembers -- If you served on the Towers in 1983 during the time of the major steam line rupture, you may be eligble to file a claim with the VA. Contact James (a Veterans Service Officer with AMVETS) at VSO348AM@vba.va.gov for more information. The website for AMVETS is www.amvets.org .

2008 Reunion Information is <HERE> Please read the latest update for special information about an auction at the 2008 Reunion.
Towers Histories from the Naval Archives have been added for the following years: 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972. Additional years will be added as time permits.

*** If you haven't done so already, please print out the 2008 Dues Form and send to the Towers Association Treasurer Rick Junge (address is on the form). Proceeds will be used to offset the 2008 Reunion and other Association-related costs.

It is my sad duty to inform everyone that the ex-USS Towers has been sunk during a SINKEX on Oct 9th, 2002. May she rest in peace, she definately deserves it. Photos (and information) of the sinking of the Towers can be found here: SINKEX 2002.
